WHAT IS AN ACTIVITY BUS?
A Multi-Function School Activity Bus — or MFSAB — is a short bus designed for the safe transportation of children and students. MFSABs typically carry fewer passengers than a traditional full-size yellow school bus, meet school bus safety standards, and are designed for activity trips rather than roadside pickup and drop-off.

ACTIVITY BUS vs
TRADITIONAL SCHOOL BUS
Activity buses are designed to safely transport children between locations while under the supervision of the responsible organization.
Traditional school buses are designed for route service, including roadside pickup and drop-off, and are built to meet the requirements associated with that use.
